What’s up guys, it’s Nick here from Fit Futures with yet another answer to yet another question.
This week’s question is Nick, ‘what is your ideal training split/’. Well to be honest, my ideal one suits me and my lifestyle. For example; I can’t train for five, six times a week, so really splitting it up into having arm sessions and all of that, just doesn’t suit me. Whole body session suit me because I can only train three times a week due to work and other commitments. So what do I do over those three days? purely whole-body.
I will look to adopt a push variation, a pull variation and then I’ll look at hip and knee flex dominant activities; such as a Romanian deadlift or a squat and then I’ll look at things that involve rotation and anti rotation, such as a woodshop with the cables or maybe a pail off press. I will then, if I have time, just incorporate some curls and some extensions, just so that the boys or the guns get a little bit of a workout as well. So if you can only train three times a week, give the whole body stuff a try, you’ll be glad that you did.
I’ll catch you next time
